The Center
has a five-point funding plan to keep its facility functioning.
One of those plans involves fundraising. Below are
several opportunities available for individuals, groups, and businesses
to either organize a fundraising event or donate directly to the

METHODS OF DONATION
HOST A FUNDRAISING EVENT
Thanks to Jerry Rabushka at
Ragged Blade Theatre in starting this
effort, numerous other leaders and organizations have now joined forces
with the Center to form fundraising alliances. The Center
provides a representative, information, or raffle tickets/items while
the host provides the party or actual event. Portions of the
proceeds are donated to the Center as a tax-deductible contribution.

10/10 CHALLENGE
The 10/10 Challenge suggests that a person donate
$10 to the Center and
ask 10 people to donate the same amount as well. This
challenge is ongoing and does not have a particular deadline. Read METHODS OF DONATION for more information.
NANCY NOVAK'S 500/500
BUSINESS CHALLENGE
Like the 10/10
Challenge, this initiative started by supportive LGBTA
business owner Nancy Novak, asks for 500 businesses to donate
$500 to the Center (including Nancy's own business, Novak's Bar
& Grill). These donations are also

"CHANGE" FOR THE CENTER
An
LGBT-supportive business can put a donation container near
their cash register to accept funds for the Center. The
Center approves having various entities do this on their own, if they
like, or have the Center provide a container. Email the Center to learn how your business can participate in the fundraising effort. Read METHODS OF DONATION for more information.
METHODS OF DONATION
There are several ways to get your donation to the Center:

Online: Click the "Donate"
Visa/Mastercard button on any Center page. You will be directed to a SECURE
PayPal website with our name entered. Use your emailed PayPal receipt, which will include YOUR NAME, as
verification of your donation. NOTE: Now, it is NOT necessary to have a PayPal account to donate funds through PayPal.

Mail: Send a check or money order payable to "LGBT Center of St. Louis" to the following address:

The Center will send a tax-deductible donation letter to the person and address indicated on the form.
- In Person:
Donations can be accepted at events where a Center representative is
available. A donation letter can be mailed to the donor for
tax-deductible purposes. Check the Timeline page for the next event where the Center will be present.
